– This work represents the birth (genesis) in all its aspects, hence the birth of all natural things but also of ideas, emotions, thoughts.

It is meant to represent the purity of birth, its original stage, free from prejudice and stereotype. Birth is seen here as an individual process / matter, which cannot however transcend from the duality of all things, including human beings.

This is the reason why the sculpture has both the female and the male sex.
